  • Lasagne

I have just made a rather yummy looking veggie lasagne in preparation for tonights dinner party! it looks so good and cheesy. the hardest bit is going to be not eating it until tonight.

p.s. i think this time i have made just the right quantity. Time will tell!

  • it could happen to anyone!

i was shopping in beeston today and saw a table outside the antique shop. we're kind of looking for a table to go in the kitchen, so i checked the price. not too expensive, but not really the right size. anyway we keep walking along and i look through the next window. i say: "ooh there's lots of tables in there". i keep on looking and wonder why there's lots of the same table in the showroom, and then wonder why people are not just sitting at it to try it out, but are actually eating at it. meanwhile dani and adelade are laughing rather hard. apparently its a restaurant.

  • the mobility scooter of dreams

A few times this last week i've debated getting a bike. The walk to uni would be so much quicker if it took place on a bike. But seeing as the last time i cycled was at the age of 11 (and then it was only ever round and round my back garden), i soon dismissed the idea.

So the next sensible option of transport is clearly a mobility scooter. They have a handy wire basket at the front for any textbooks or folders, a nice comfy seat, the option of giving someone a lift to uni, and of course the fact that they are much faster than walking. All in all the perfect solution to the hassle of walking. The only potential problem is, if there's an age limit. Maybe you have to be over 65 to drive one? i dont know, but i'd like to find out....
